The story of this pattern started for us when we were looking for a bright yellow for the hic collection. Muhu yellow is a symbolic color of Estonian folk costumes, and no one who takes a deeper look at Estonian patterns can do without it.
On the one hand, the Muhu skirt itself has been overused, and on the other hand, we have been trying to find lesser-known items and patterns to breathe life into them, so the skirt was out of the question right from the start.
I spent a week in the library, leafing through pattern pages, and only the Muhu tanud and some North Estonian sleeve patterns remained on the screen.
Lots of beautiful things and none that would make your heart beat faster.

And there it was, exactly what we had been looking for, the yellowest yellow, accompanied by the most beautiful rose we had ever seen.
Although yes, the work ahead seemed quite complex, and different from the previous ones, with all its shiny pearls, lace, and long, flowing silk threads.
The embroidery of the bottom strip begins. Since there are already too many pieces, the computer starts to crash and becomes slow, so the bottom strip has to be done separately.
To complete all the bags and boxes, quite a few additional elements had to be made, some of which remained as designs,
some were completed but had to be set aside, some were put into operation.
